Full of fall flavors, yet delicious enough to enjoy year round, this hearty, satisfying dish is made with tender braised pork and roasted, puréed butternut squash. Fennel brings a zippy bite and apples add a hint of sweetness.

The cut of pork was very fatty and a little dry. The chunks of fennel were pretty crunchy and not very good. Overall the dish was ok but there is room for improvement.

Braised pork chunks with Butternut squash Puree. That's it. It's a little one note. But an easy meal when you need one. None of the other things that are pictured on the plate.

The puree might benefit from a hint of butter.

The pork was delicious, but the squash was relatively bland, though the butternut came through. Perhaps because we had additional spicier choices for this dinner.

Something changed in the seasoning and the flavor of this. This time. Used to be one of my favorites. Also packaged to where the squash is getting mixed in with the sauce.
